Naomi Watts, best known for The Ring, may be afraid of becoming a big star, but she won't be able to avoid anything but after the release of her latest Hollywood venture, King Kong.
Watts, who will play Ann Darrow in the remake of the classic 1933 film, has spend several months living in New Zealand where the film is being directed by Peter Jackson.
"I don't like to think of being a movie star," said Watss in an interview with Australia's In Style magazine. "I do slightly fear it with King Kong. It's going to be such a large-scale picture in every way."
This is a little surprising, considering she has spoken many times of the hard time she had breaking into the business. In fact, she nearly threw in the towel many times, but after 10 years of hard work in LA, the actress has finally made it big.
"So many times I've sat down in a hotel room alone, snacking on minibar food and feeling sorry for myself. My personal life--with or without a career--has never been a bed of roses."
