Although the infamous book and best seller, I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell, has been in circulation for a few years, it has just recently begun making waves as one of the many books being turned into a movie. The difference is, this movie revolves around a complete jerk (admittedly) and stars non other than Traci Lords.

Book Synopsis: My name is Tucker Max, and I am an asshole. I get excessively drunk at inappropriate times, disregard social norms, indulge every whim, ignore the consequences of my actions, mock idiots and posers, sleep with more women than is safe or reasonable, and just generally act like a raging dickhead. But, I do contribute to humanity in one very important way: I share my adventures with the world.

Movie Synopsis: Tucker decides to take an impromptu trip to celebrate his friend's bachelor party. He drags his friend into a lie with his fianc?e, gets him into trouble and then abandons him in order to pursue a hilarious carnal interest. Tucker is disinvited to the wedding, and in order to get back in, Tucker has to find a way to balance his narcissism with the demands of friendship

I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell will be in a theater near you in 2009. If the idea intrigues you, but you can't wait for the movie release, try passing the time by picking up the book, if you can stomach it.
