During the taping of her new MTV series, "Trippin," Cameron Diaz was attacked by cicadas in the Honduran rainforest and also landed face first while sand boarding in the dessert. But, you definitely won't hear her complain.
"Physical discomfort for me is all about building your constitution, so I invite it in," reportedly said 32-year-old Diaz, according to AP radio. The show, which premieres Monday night, follows Diaz and her celebrity friends as they travel to environmentally sensitive areas around the world and look to discover ways to preserve them.
Among the activities seen during the 10 episodes, they visit Patagonian glaciers, ride elephants in Nepal, sand board in Chile, compete in an archery competition in Bhutan, and also relax in the hot springs at Yellowstone National Park, as well as others.
"We all share this planet and if we understand that, kids might start looking at it differently," she said. "They might start looking about how they consume--what they consume, how they consume it, where they consume it from."
DMX, Redman, Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba, and Kelly Slater are among the friends traveling with Diaz.
