Some people are just naturally flirtacious. But what happens when those people tie the knot? Most of them continue to flirt with the opposite sex because it is a part of their personality, even though they love their spouse and don't want to act on their sexual attraction.

So when would your woman feel that you have crossed the line between flirting and cheating? Here are some basic guidelines to keep in mind next time you go out minus the old ball and chain.

Harmless

Eyeing a hottie across the room and smiling. Winking suggests more than flirting so try to keep your eyes in check.

Making small talk with her. If you have managed to find your way next to her and her friends, there is no harm by starting up a conversation with her. Keep the content friendly, like asking what she does and try not to stare down her shirt.

Confiding in her at work. Becoming thisclose to someone you work with makes sense, even taking them out to lunch every so often (if you let your woman know before) can be harmless.

Flirting without intentions. If you just want to see if you can get her to flirt back for your ego, then you are still on safe ground. If you want to see if you can get her in the sack, you are crossing over the line.

On the cusp

Buying her a drink. You can ask her what she is drinking and be a gentlemen by purchasing her and/or her friends their next round. If you continue paying for the drinks all night it will seem like you are hoping to get something out of it.

Touching her on her arm and/or leg. If you purposely do this just to see if she is real or as soft as she looks is right on the border. If you do it repeatedly, you are crossing over the line and she may tell you that herself.

Giving her your business card. This move is more about networking and less about hooking up, however it does leave room for her to contact you, which might not go over well with the wife.

Over the line

Hiding your wedding ring in your pocket. Only bad things can come out of this manuever.

Having a motive and acting on it. If you find yourself kissing her or going further than that, you have gone way over the line.

Getting her number. Unless you want to have a fling, why would you need her number?

Telling her repeatedly how hot she is and making sexual suggestions. While it is obvious that she is attractive and that is why you are flirting with her, there is no need to keep pointing it out.
