We haven't seen too many games lately that make us want to run out and buy them. But Avalanche Studios' Just Cause sounds like just the game we've been looking for.If you think the guys of GTA are tough, they'll look like sissy mama's boys compared to Just Cause's main character, Rico Rodriguez.
Rodriguez is an undercover CIA agent who seems to be the king of death defying stunts. From what we've heard, he can do things like overtake an aircraft mid-flight and/or hitch a ride on the same aircraft just by hanging on with his handy dandy grapple.
His job in the game is to bring down the corrupt government on the South American Island, San Esperito. With his skills, it shouldn't be a problem.
Just Cause isn't due to hit the streets until September 26. But if you want to try it out before then, you can get a sample through an Xbox Live free demo.
The download, 632MB in size, will give you only a taste of the action game by putting you on an island that's just a fraction of the size of the one in the full-length game.
In the actual game, San Esperito will measure 1,225 square miles, and will have everything such as beaches, mountains, jungles, large cities, and small villages.mSounds fun to us!
