Ever wonder why you catch your woman watching Bridezilla every night or why once a month she gets mad that all of her friends are married and she isn't? While part of the reason she gets that way about marriage is because of her DNA, there are other reasons that contribute to her obsession.
Celebrities. In the news, celebrities are getting married every day having a fairytale romance played out for her to see. It is hard not to get caught up when you hear about the million dollar wedding a celeb had and want it for yourself.
Childhood. Along with that DNA part, woman have been programmed since they were young to dream of their weddings one day. Whether they want it particularly with you is not what they mean sometimes, they just get excited thinking of all the planning they will get to do because they grew up doing that.
Movies. In an hour and a half, a couple falls in love, has a fight and gets back together, then ends up married at the end. Women love these movies so it is only natural that they want their lives to mimic the films they watch.
Peer Pressure. When a woman is in her 20s and 30s and all of her close friends, and even not close friends, are getting married everywhere around her, she will feel a certain pressure to be like them. It might not even be that she wants to be married right then, but she feels left out of the elusive married club.
Family. Depending on the family and culture, some women are pressured to be married and have babies every time they see their family. With all that pressure, it is a wonder they don't talk about marriage more.
