Signals She Wants to be Touched
Women can be tricky creatures. But when it comes to letting you know we're ready for you to make your move, there are some definite signals to watch for. That is, if you can keep your eyes off our headlights...
Green Light
1. The old cliché is true -- if we play with our hair, we want you to do the same. Hair is sexy, especially if we can toss it around.
2. When we're into a guy, we'll compliment him on anything to get his attention. So if we can't shut up about how funny you are, we're stroking your egos. Unless you're Jon Stewart. Then you just are that funny.
3. There's this thing called personal space, and if you invade ours (say touch our hand as you're reaching for your drink) and we don't flinch, we want to be touched more. We'll even find some reason to touch you. It could be your knee, your arm, your hand... whatever. And if we brush your knee as we tell you how funny you are, you're definitely in.
4. If you have a keen eye, you can spot these subtle signs, too. When we lean in towards you, we desire closeness. If our pupils dilate when you approach us, we find you attractive. Fidgeting with our shoes or jewelry can be a sign of pent-up sexual energy.
5. Communication is 60% non-verbal, so keep an eye on our bodies (tough requirement, we know.) And mirroring your body language (crossing our legs when you do, leaning on our hands when you do) indicates we're in tune with you.
Red Light
1. If you ask us what we do for a living and we give you a quick answer like "I'm in finance," we're probably only sticking around for the free drinks.
2. You're talking, but our eyes seem to be looking over your shoulder -- as if we're looking for someone more interesting to talk to. We are. (You think you're the only ones who can pretend to listen?)
3. Again, read her body, not her mind. If the arms are crossed, we're uncomfortable and on guard. Not good news for you.
