When you think of sex, sleep might not be the first thing that comes to mind. In fact, it is probably the last. Unless, of course, it's the blissful dreams you have after an all night sack session. Recently, Travelodge polled 2,000 people in the UK and found that sex came in as people's fourth favorite night time activity. Surprisingly, it fell behind reading, checking out whatever's on TV, and sleeping itself. When people aren't busy with mundane activities or getting busy, they have more than a few things on their subconscious mind.

The survey found that over 16 million adults talk in their sleep on a regular basis. Of those, 11 percent have actually spoken something private and important that their significant other did not know.

The top five secrets spoken while dreaming are:

  • Important work details.

  • Lies that have been told at work.

  • Info about a friend who has been unfaithful.

  • Info about how they, themselves, have been unfaithful.

  • Crimes they have committed.

Travelodge also found that just the fact that a person talks in their sleep can be enough to make a good relationship end up going down the drain. One out of every five people admitted that their partner's sleep talking affects their own good night's sleep, and 17 percent of those feel it's a major relationship issue. Over three-quarters revealed that they lose a minimum of an hour's sleep per night because of their noisy partners. If you actually tally up this number, it comes to a whopping month and a half of sleep lost each year. Although the number doesn't seem huge, one percent have actually ended a relationship because of sleep talking.

72 percent of women admit to losing their temper when sleep deprived, compared with the more easygoing men at 67 percent. If you are fantasizing about another woman, cheating, or have committed a crime, make sure that your woman is getting enough sleep. Otherwise, you may wind up missing an important appendage or waking up to the cops.
