You've heard of meeting girls online. Well how about onboard? Thanks to their open seating policy, the low-fare U.S. carrier Southwest airline has helped hundreds of singles make a love connection 30,000 feet in the air.
In fact, executives of the Dallas-based company have received thousands of wedding invites from couples who met in a pair of their orange and blue seats.

"At times, we feel that we are the love brokers of the sky," said airline spokesman Ed Stewart.

It works like this: Passengers get a boarding pass assigning them to one of three boarding groups based on how early they check in. As each group is called, the goat rodeo begins and everyone makes a mad dash towards the window seats.

But if you play it cool, you can snag a seat next to that cute brunette instead of getting stuck cross-country next to the woman who smells like cheese.
