While some guys don't realize their love for cars until they are older, others start their obsession at an early age by playing with model cars or the ever-popular Hot Wheels. Although you may think that playing with model cars is just for kids, it is something that has become more than a hobby. Ridemakerz.com can turn your idea into a reality.
Their mission:
Kidz of all ages love cars of all kindz. Cars represent freedom, self-expression and most of all, FUN. In garages, automotive workshops and customizing studios from Pasadena to Daytona, America's love affair with the automobile continues, as car enthusiasts and gearheads do what we've done for decades take one of the greatest machines ever invented and make it even greater. We soup it up, trick it out and in the process transform a utilitarian necessity into a thing of beauty, a work of art, a real RIDE. This uniquely American art form, this passion for expressing our individuality in chrome and paint, this universal love of cars, is the fuel that drives all of us full-throttle to a destination called FUN!
How it works:
First you have to pick a car. Once that's done, you get the chance to customize your car any way you want; it can be as simple as new rims or as tricked out as a pimp mobile.
With all kinds of options to choose from, you can change the paint color, add a souped up engine, use one of the many accessory kits to make your car anything from a surfer's ride to a racing champ, use decals to add even more character, and even change the type of wheels/treads that you have. The site also has a section for customized birthdays and get-togethers for "kidz" from 6 to 106.
Every Customizer™ moves thru the SHOP ZONES to create and cruize home with a new RIDE.
Each extra for your car is fairly priced so you won't end up spending your entire savings making one model car. Right now it looks like the best way to buy a Ridez is to do so through their website. But, there are two stores opening soon; The Mall of America and one in Myrtle Beach.
