If you can't seem to get a woman to stay the night because she hates sleeping on your uncomfortable bed, you need to make a change (quickly). Leggett & Platt's Starry Night Sleep Technology bed has all of the features a bed could need to keep you and your guest satisfied.
Stop Snoring. The bed has a vibration-detection system that has been specially designed to move in order to change your sleeping position to help moderate snorers stop snoring. When you stop snoring, it'll go right back into place. This means your girlfriend can get a better night's sleep, and you won't have to worry about waking up all bruised from her elbowing you all night to try and stop you from snoring.
Regulate your environment. The bed's temperature can also be regulated to ensure you have the most comfortable sleep experience possible. Using liquid-based Peltier technology, the mattress can be set to "pre-heat" or "pre-cool" both sides of the bed from 68 degrees to 117 degrees Fahrenheit. It eliminates the need to heat or cool the entire house during sleeping hours which saves money and helps the environment.
Get comfortable. For those of you who toss and turn or don't get a restful sleep, the bed will monitor your movements and breathing patterns for 30 days, and will then offer you tips on how to get a better night's sleep. Thanks to Microsoft's Media Center, you will get a wireless RF remote that is connected to life|ware(TM). If you enjoy listening to a little music while you're relaxing, or working up a sweat, between the sheets, there's a docking station for your iPod so you can have all of your favorite tunes at your fingertips.
For now you'll have to stick with Ikea, but in 2009, the Starry Night bed will be up for sale. Considering it will cost you anywhere from $20,000 to $50,000 (depending on whatever features you choose), you'll need the next year to save up.
» Have a sleepover.
