Your girlfriend tells you she's spending the night having drinks with friends, but the plans she laid out for you sound a bit fishy. And lately it seems harder and harder to get her on her cell, especially when you know that she always has it on her. Being a trusting guy is good...to a point. Unfortunately, if you're too trusting all the time, you might not know when someone is trying to pull something over on you. To figure out if she is lying to you, just look for the telltale signs:

1. Stalling on the phone and not answering questions directly.

2. Speaking faster than usual and rushing you off the phone.

3. Change in pitch or tone.

4. Standing with her body facing away from yours.

5. Moving or fidgeting nervously.

6. Can't look you in the eye.

Unfortunately, if your girlfriend is used to lying to get what she wants, she might be really good at hiding the signals. So, if you can't seem to figure out if something's wrong based on her body language, your best bet is to use your instincts and ask her what's up straight out.
