Although some thought Eric Bana's Hulk was somewhat amusing, a lot of people thought the CGI just about ruined a great character.
It looks like the big green guy in the purple shorts will get another chance when he's once again brought to the big screen with the upcoming movie, The Incredible Hulk. It isn't known as of yet if it'll be full of CGI, but it is known that it won't be a sequel.
Avi Arad told IF magazine, "It's a do-over'. I loved the HULK movie, it was just a different approach, and it wasn't exactly the comic. We want to be much closer to the comic. It's what we would rather do."
Right now it hasn't been announced who will play the Hulk in the new movie. But, considering there's already a writer on board, and a director might soon be announced, it looks like it probably won't be Bana again since he has yet to be asked back.
The movie, which, as mentioned above, should be closer to the comic, will find the Hulk pitted against Abominable.
