After a lot of searching and countless testing, Pierce Brosnan will remain 007. He will reprise his role in the upcoming film, Casino Royale, along with co-star Judi Dench.

This information has been revealed by Dench, the 70-year-old actress who will also be reprising the role of M in the next Bond film. Her claims back up reports made earlier this month that the bigwigs behind the films are still keen on the 51-year-old Brosnan, despite the fact that Daniel Craig and Clive Owen were both in line to possibly play the role of the super suave spy.

"Despite the fact that everyone on the face of the Earth has been tested as his possible replacement, Pierce will be doing it again," said Dench. "It will be announced come summer."
