If you're looking for a movie that will make your date jump into your lap, Sony Pictures' Vacancy might be your best bet. Lucky for us, the hot Kate Beckinsale took over for Sarah Jessica Parker's role as Amy Fox and stars alongside Luke Wilson (David Fox) in this thriller.

When the Fox's car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, the couple is forced to spend the night in a questionable motel. With cockroaches crawling out of the floors and brown liquid oozing from the faucet, their accommodations resemble a crack house rather than a Best Western. But more disturbing than the bed linens is the realization that the horror films they found on the TV appear to have been shot in the very room in which they are staying. With the hidden cameras rolling, David and Amy must try and escape from the motel, or become the stars of a real life horror film.

Rated R for the brutal violence and some brief nudity (hopefully of Kate), Vacancy is due on April 20, 2007. It will be interesting to see if audiences find Wilson's usually light-hearted comedic nature believable in an intense, frightening film such as this. But regardless of the quality of the film and the acting, one thing is guaranteed; Kate Beckinsale is a smoke show. She's reason enough to go see this movie.

Despite rumors of off screen tension between the two stars, their chemistry on screen looks promising, and the plot twists will keep you on the edge of your seat (and your dates fingernails lodged in your arm). We wouldn't recommend trying the popcorn trick during this film.
