Extreme Adventures for Guys Who Like to Live on the Edge

You probably don't have the skills of James Bond or Indiana Jones, but now you can vacation like them. A company called On-the-Edge-Adventures offers extreme vacations based on your personality and interests.


Remember that 1997 movie "The Game" where Michael Douglas gets an extreme adventure for his birthday and spends the movie running around getting shot at? Well it's like that. Only without the potential death part.

Your adventure is customized using a detailed background questionnaire to push your mental, physical, and cultural limits on a 9 ½ day escapade. Each adrenaline-pumping day is further enhanced using over a dozen experts in travel, military operations, props-and-sets, stunts, a storyboard consultant, and even a mobile noodle cart hawker (although he probably doesn't pass along government secrets).

Travelers may end up in Cambodia, Laos, Hong Kong, Bangkok, or the Golden Triangle and get around on anything from a helicopter to a bamboo raft to a rickshaw to an elephant.

While you don't need a military background or mad athletic skills, these adventures aren't for the guy who likes to lounge by the pool with an umbrella in his drink. And if the adventure doesn't give you a heart attack, the $13,500 price tag just might.
